Objectives: To collect, evaluate, and increase new plant materials for the Rim Village revegetation project.

Findings and Status: Results of test plots: Soil treatment and species interacted to affect stand establishment in plots in 1992. Incorporation of peat moss and slow-release fertilizer promoted emergence/establishment, and flowering of certain grass species and emergence/establishmnet of broadleaf lupine. Lupine emergence appeared to be hindered by addition of erosion-control netting. Application of the netting did not promote stand establishment; however, netting may be important for successful establishment of plant cover in years with below normal precipitation or on slopes.
