Vesta Lee Fulton, 86, died Oct. 31, 2004, in Bend.
A memorial service has been held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bend.
Mrs. Fulton was born June 17, 1918 to Charles and Maude (Martin) Logan in Oklahoma.
She was baptized as a young girl, started work in her early teens, drove a gas truck during World War II, and was a switchboard operator for the park service at Crater Lake National Park.
She married John W. Fulton in 1941 in Colorado and raised their three children at Crater Lake National Park. They later retired in Chiloquin, where they ran the star mail route.
Survivors include her children Judy Duncan, Joyce Munger and John W. Fulton Jr.; grandchildren Kathy Kreklau, Cristy Ouellette and Charleen Myers; great-grandchildren Brant, Ashlee, Michael, Geoffery, Chelsie, Johnathan, Ethan and Kailei; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and six brothers.
