Those who enjoy national parks and saving a buck or two may want to visit Crater Lake on Saturday.
Admission fees to Crater Lake National Park will be waived Saturday in celebration of Founders Day.
August 25th marks the anniversary of the national parks system, which was established by President Woodrow Wilson in 1916.
Crater Lake National Park Superintendent Chuck Lundy notes that the free admission is just one way of thanking visitors for their continued support.
The Lava Beds National Monument will also be waiving admission fees on Saturday.
