PLANT MATERIALS
1. A comprehensive evaluation of existing historic plant materials throughout Rim Village should be undertaken prior any treatments. The evaluation should include an estimate of how much material can be salvaged.
2. All plant materials used at Rim Village must be indigenous to the parks. Exotic and introduced plant materials are inappropriate and should not be used under any circumstances.
3. Because plant materials to be used in revegetation cannot collected from the park, a nursery or other plant source should be established as soon as possible to ensure the availability of acclimated stock.
4. Plant materials selected for revegetation or replacement at Rim Village should be selected from the list below (also see TYPOLOGY Vegetation).
