Stationed at both Crater Lake’s Camp Wineglass and Oregon Cave’s Forest Camp, Robert Stangeland (on the left in the top photo) photographed his Civilian Conservation Corps experience on days off. While many of these photos are of his pals, it also shows life here in 1935 as these young men earned a dollar a day plus a bed.
