Data for the storage precipitation gage were supplied by R. L. Kraus of the Medford office of the U.S. Geological Survey. In recent years, the gage has been maintained by R. Edmund, M. A. Gentile, J. G. House, R. L. Kraus, J. L. Moffet, and M. J. Warwick. The long-term records for Crater Lake exist because it was selected as a Hydrologic Benchmark station in 1963.
