Permit Start Date: Jan 01, 1997

Study Starting Date: Jan 01, 1997

Study Ending Date: Jan 01, 1997

Study Status: Completed

Activity Type: Research

Subject/Discipline: Geostructure / Tectonics

Objectives: Density distribution of stratigraphic layers of Cleetwood airfall deposits; Determine the degassing history of the Cleetwood magma.

Findings and Status: *All collecting completed: 35 layers sampled in total (100 clasts per layer);*Specimens stored at Univ of OR, Dept of Geological Sciences.;*Currently in the process of weighing pumice clasts to determine density, to help select claste to be imaged on SEM (scanning electron microscope).

For this study, were one or more specimens collected and removed from the park but not destroyed during analyses? No
