Objectives: Collect and analyze soil samples for chemical and physical properities.
Findings and Status: Soil samples were collected for laboratory analysis in June 2004. One pedon was sampled. Samples were shipped to the USDA-NRCS National Soil Survey Laboratory. A description of the soil profile was also made at the time of sample collection. Analysis should be completed in 2005. The description and laboratory analysis will be used as reference material during the site visit in 2006 for the World Congress Soil Science Pacific Northwest tour.
