Objectives: To conduct a qualitative exploration of visitors’ attitudes and perceptions regarding the qualities of Crater Lake as a scenic resource.
Findings and Status: Findings have been similar to a visitor study conducted in 1996 (with similar objectives). Most visitors in the focus groups expressed that the pristine condition of Crater Lake is one of the reasons it is valued aesthetically. Project is part of a student’s research and data is not completely analyzed to date.
